Perfect! It's definitely worth noting that Roscoe Road would be paved now, if not for Marty!

That was a beautiful tribute to read. I grew up in Charlotte, and never met them -- but know that I have directly benefited from their work in preserving the beautiful land and waterways that I was lucky enough to explore as a kid. Condolences to the family and thank you for sharing

I never had the good fortune to meet Terry but knew Marty since I was a kid, as the upbeat, lovely girl who lived just down the hill who always seemed to be happy to interact. When my parents lived in Charlotte, i know they connected, and that Marty & Terry were generous with them. Before my folks moved on, I wish I had managed to get up the road to see Marty & Terry in the home they created there. Condolences to all the family, and the community which will have to carry on without them.

Two beautiful human beings. So many broken hearts. Tai and Lior will continue their legacy.

What a wonderful testament to this couple! Like someone else said, I didn’t know them and after reading this I wished that I had. They sound like they were happy and died doing something they loved. Amen

Wow, what a fantastic picture of their lives -- thank you, Chea. I did not have the pleasure of knowing them but your story makes me wish I had. It would have been an honor to be part of one of the legendary dinners and share a few glasses of boysenberry wine.
